About Us

A classic blue car parked outside the Elks Lodge. — Gateway-Gresham Elks Lodge #1805
A classic blue car parked outside the Elks Lodge.

On NE Division Street in Gresham, Lodge #1805 has built a reputation that shows up in the reviews: the crowd sings birthday songs to strangers, the grounds are kept sharp, and when someone needs a private space to say goodbye to a friend, the whole hall clears out for them. That range, from late-night dancing to quiet celebration-of-life gatherings, is exactly what a real community lodge looks like.

The lodge floor is roomy enough for a full dance night and personal enough that you notice the familiar faces. Bingo on Thursday evenings draws a regular crowd, complete with food that actually satisfies. RV travelers passing through the Pacific Northwest know to check here first, because the parking lot offers overnight stays without the highway-exit-motel hassle.

Rated 4.6 out of 5 across more than a hundred reviews, this is not a lodge coasting on nostalgia. The members here are active, the events calendar stays full, and the Elks' national mission of community service runs through everything the lodge does at the local level in Gresham, Oregon.

What We Offer

Thursday Bingo nights are the anchor of the weekly calendar. Doors open, food is served, and the room fills with regulars and newcomers alike. It is the kind of evening that turns a one-time visit into a standing weekly plan.

For private events, the lodge rents its full facility for celebrations, memorials, reunions, and milestone parties. When you book the hall, you get the whole space, complete privacy, and a setting that feels warm rather than institutional. RV parking is available in the lot for travelers who want a safe, no-fuss overnight stop on their way through the Portland metro area.

Membership in Elks Lodge #1805 connects you to the national Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, one of the oldest fraternal organizations in the country, while keeping you rooted in a lodge where people genuinely know your name and, apparently, will sing to you on your birthday.

"We were there for a celebration of life for one of our best friends so it was a sad/try to be happy occasion. The whole place was rented for the occasion so we had complete privacy. It is a nice place, plenty of room yet cozy at the same time. The bartender made good drinks, which went well with all of our stories of her and the memories we all shared. It was a great place for all of us who love her to get together, celebrate her life & remember all our crazy times together ❤️"

"Fun place to play bingo on Thursday evenings. If I were not moving out of state soon, I would join this club. The staff are always welcoming. It's a bit outdated, but that's to be ex- pected. It's clean and always a good time."

Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
